10. Tour through the Itaimbezinho Canyon

This tour lasts approximately 9 hours and takes visitors to the largest canyon in Latin America, located in the Aparados da Serra National Park in Cambala del Sur. The setting here is one of the most spectacular, including the setting for the miniseries Casa das Sete Mulheres.

The canyon is about 700 meters deep and 6 kilometers long. Accompanied by a guide, visitors follow two trails from which they can enjoy different views of the canyon. The tour ends with a picnic and entering the canyon is part of the tour.

9. Visit Alpen Park

Alpen Park is a small amusement park in Canela, which has roller coasters, zip lines, 4D theaters, ATVs, climbing and sleds. The park is surrounded by many trees and has a very beautiful view of Serra Gaúcha.

8. Terra Mágica Florybal Park

The fun theme of the Florybal Chocolate Factory store turns into a park full of characters, elves and animals.

In the vast spaces of Canela, you live a fantasy world with fairies, dinosaurs, medieval castles and sorcerers. The park also has some rides, a 7D movie theater and an art show! Attractions more than recommended for those traveling with children!

7. Miniworld

It is nothing more than an outdoor park filled with replicas of buildings from around the world, 24 times smaller than the original. This is Mini Mundo, one of the most popular attractions in Gramado.

There, visitors can admire miniature models of the Castle of Neuschwanstein (Germany), the Palace of the Prince of Monaco, the Botanical Garden of Curitiba and the Church of São Francisco de Assis in Ouro Preto (Minas Gerais). One of those tours that the whole family, children and adults can enjoy!

6. Take a cable car ride

Take the cable car down the hill until you reach Cascata do Caracol, in Canela, another classic tour for visitors to the Serra Gaúcha.

The cable car has three stations. Boarding is done in the middle. At the top of the site, the view is one of the most beautiful with lots of green around.

There it is possible to park a boat or take a walk in the woods. Already at the lowest station, there is the great star of the funicular ride: the view of the beautiful Cascata do Caracol, one of the postcards of the region.

5. Beer tour on the bus

Gramado is strongly influenced by German culture. Almost everyone already knows this! So how about a themed Bier Bus Tour of the three craft breweries in Serra Gaúcha?

In Gramado, visitors can take a guided tour of the Hasen and Ambarina breweries, learning about the production process and curiosities of the brewing world. In Canela, the landscape is at Cervejaria Farol.

Passengers receive a personalized Bus Bier Tour beer mug at the end of the tour. The tour lasts four hours and entrance to the brewery is included in the ticket.

Inaugurated at the end of 2020, Skyglass Canela joined the list of the most visited attractions in Serra Gaúcha! Suspended 360 meters above the Rio Caí valley, the glass platform guarantees the typical beauty of Serra Gaúcha.

For those looking for more adventure, the best option is to take the Abusado, a monorail connected to the platform floor with ten cable cars.

2. Snowland Park

At Snowland Park, the focus is on snow attractions! Inaugurated in 2013, Snowland is the first indoor snow park in Latin America.

In addition to the 3D simulator and the ice skating rink, there is also a snow mountain in the park, where you can practice skiing, snowboarding and yo-yoing in the snow.

Snowland is a great option for occasional rainy days in Gramado. The hotel provides warm clothes and shoes for staying in the mountains, where temperatures can be negative.

1. Maria Smoke

First of all, one of the favorite tours for tourists visiting Gramado is in another corner of Serra Gaúcha: the Maria Fumaça train, which connects Bento Gonçalves to Carlos Barbosa, a route famous for the wines, cheeses and legacies left by Italian immigrants in the region.

The train journey is filled with artistic performances such as music, theater and dance. Tickets for Maria Fumaça from Gramado and Canela include round-trip transportation to Bento Gonçalves (approximately two hours each way), entrance to Maria Fumaça and Epopeia Italiana theme park with sets, video AND the landscape that tells the story features immigrants Italians who arrived in the area at the end of the 19th century.
