10 Tips to improve study performance

Improve study performance is one of the biggest challenges for those involved in public competitions or lobbying.

Many people have to balance their activities with work, social life, school or other time-consuming daily tasks. As a result, college professor Ju Oliveira, author of “Activating Your Brain for Tests and Competitions: 100 Ways to Improve Your Performance,” offers tips on how to manage your time and advance your studies.

1. Exercise your body

Always engage in some form of physical activity before beginning to study.

Make an effort to run or sprint for at least ten minutes. This will result in the body producing endorphins and a higher retention of the studied material.

2. Don’t study for more than two hours straight

Our brain lacks the tools necessary to distribute information across a lengthy period of time after a longer period than this. So the perfect thing to do after two hours of studying is to take a 10-minute break, walk or run, and then return to the books. Your pay will be far superior.

3. Step forward toward a wall

4. Stimulate the olfactory system

6. Write some music

There is a great memory technique for formulas, ideas, or definitions that don’t make sense to you: making music. To accomplish this, just purchase a song that you are familiar with and review the lyrics in light of the information you wish to memorize. Because you already know the melody, it will be quite simple to remember the new lyrics.

7. Relax your body

9. Make use of your free time to have fun

No romance, drama, or scary movies during the study period; instead, reserve your free time to watch comedies and attend plays in this genre. Only watch comedies that are well-done so that you can laugh heartily. This will help to balance your immune system and put you in a good position for your studies. Additionally, it may aid in the development of fresh and reliable synaptic connections.

10. Talk to you directly

When it’s time to improve study performance, always review the content covered in class or the prepared summaries, have a conversation with you while you’re standing in front of a stage as if you were playing a part in a theatrical production. This will leave a mark on your brain on the subject at hand.
